Technical Support: chatting with a performer

I don't have a cam, but would still like to use audio on my end from time to time.
How can I do this while chatting? I've read the skype comments, and don't want to abuse the system in any way.

Why dont you just pick up a cheap cam , probably get one for $20 dollars . other wise go to the cam to cam chat link at the bottom of the main page ( very bottom ) there you can test to see if your cam / mic will work .. so u will see if ur mic will work without cam.
